The PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is a visionary initiative launched by the Government of India to promote clean and affordable energy through rooftop solar installations in residential homes. With the goal of generating free electricity for households, the scheme offers financial subsidies, easy loans, and technical support to encourage widespread adoption of solar power. Under this initiative, eligible families can install rooftop solar systems and receive up to 300 units of free electricity per month, significantly reducing their energy bills and contributing to a greener future.

JKYDF actively supports the dissemination and awareness of this scheme across Jammu & Kashmir, especially in rural and underserved areas.
